To whom the course is aimed?

This course is initially aimed for both brothers and sisters from general education background, whether currently a student in any school/college/university, or a job holder, or a home-maker.

What  will you gain from the course?

  • Acquiring elementary lessons  of Islamic theology inclusively  in the succeeding stated branches of  Islamic disciplines : Aqidah, Fiqh, Principles of Fiqh, Principles of Hadith,  Islamic Economics, Islamic Philosophy, Islamic History,   Modern doctrines, Islamic penal code.

  • Aqidah : To coin sound ‘Aqidah, this excursion firstly will start with  the 'Six Matters' which are the fundamental cornerstone of ‘Aqidah. 

  • Fiqh : To be acquainted with regulations of Islam with textual proofs from the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Taharat,  Salat, Zakat,   Fasting and Pilgrimage are the focal points.

  • Principles of Fiqh : To Marginally light up on the methodological approach exercised in Islamic jurisprudence and comprehension for delving into substantive rules. 

  • Principles of Hadith : A few criteria of Hadith as it constitutes the second source of the Muslim community.

  • Islamic  Economics : Usery, Interest, Waqf,  Mudarabah, Musharakah, Ijarah, Cryptocurrency,  Mortgage and the rest.

  • Islamic Philosophy : Mysticism, classical Islamic philosophy (Falsafah)  al-Ghazali,  Ibn Taymiyyah.

  • Islamic History : Prophetic age, Rashidun, Abbasid, Umayyad and  Ottoman Caliphate.

  • Modern doctrines : Orientalism, Liberalism, Atheism, Postmodernism.

  • Islamic penal code : Consisting of crimes and punishments of hudud, qisas, diyat, ta'zirat.

  • To Attain a round-up comprehension (fahm) of the Allah's orders, prescriptions, and prohibitions.

  • To gain rhythm to live on spontaneous changes pertaining to  the aspects of shari'ah and  a foundational discourse of Sunnah.  

  • To make the mundane and supernatural life clearly recognizable in consonance with  revelation.

Class System  

Online classes, conducted live through Zoom application. Every student must be present during the classes. Classes are recorded only for internal review purposes, and no class record will be provided to any student unless someone had an absolute emergency and took a leave of absence beforehand.

Course materials

The materials used in instruction are uniquely and specifically designed and organized for this course. The materials include our own research-based book, lecture sheets, and excerpts of original texts.  Students are prohibited from sharing the materials with anyone outside Sibawayh.

You may pay the whole amount up front, or pay in 2 (two) installments. If  you opt for 2-installments, you need to pay at least Tk. 2,000  as first installment at admission time.
